Update on our COVID-Safe measures - November 2021

We are still keeping you safe during the pandemic

We have updated our COVID-19 Risk Assessment and have relaxed some of our measures.

Before your visit:

All bookings are made by phone or email and also on site with your health partner

All payments are taken by phone or on site by card (contactless)

Please come to your appointment or class ready to participate; there will be no changing facilities available for the time being

Please ensure you bring with you a full water bottle, a towel and appropriate footwear – socks MUST be worn for ALL Pilates classes.

There will be no on-site reception service, shop sales or refreshments available for the foreseeable future

When you arrive at the building, please wait for your appointment/class outside as the door will be locked. In bad weather, you are welcome to wait inside and your health partner will greet you promptly

Please be punctual – the door will be locked by the team member in time for the session to start promptly. There will be no one in Reception to let you in after the session has started.

During your visit:

Our services are back to normal now, this means that there are sometimes multiple classes and appointments at the same time. We ask everyone to keep themselves sfe when moving around the building and to be considerate of other people.

Your team member will open the door and invite you in and will ask if you have had any COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days, namely a high temperature, new and persistent cough or change in sense of taste and smell – if you answer yes to this, you will be asked to return home and self-isolate for at least 10 days or until you have a negative test result, as per government guidelines. We will then contact you on day 11 to review the situation.

Your team member will take your temperature on entry with a contactless thermometer – anything over 38 degrees C will be deemed too high to attend and you will be asked to return home and isolate for at least 10 days or until you have a negative test result, as per government guidelines. We are following the government guidelines regarding clients returning from abroad.

We continue to have hand sanitiser around the building for all to use.

Face coverings are now optional but recommended.

Toilets are in use, but showers and changing areas remain out of use for now.

Please do not use any equipment without the supervision of your instructor

During classes, Health Partners are now able to use physical touch to correct movements, but still use hand sanitiser between clients.

As you leave

Please be aware that our team will not have time between appointments and classes to chat as before, due to strict cleaning routines. However, if you do require advice or feedback relating to your session, make it known to the team member who will contact you later.

Please do vacate the building as swiftly as possible.

No showers will be in use.

On leaving, please sanitise your hands with the gel provided by the exit.

Your team member will show you to the exit and see you out.

If you experience any COVID-19 symptoms, please let LEAR know ASAP and we will advise on your next steps with regard to attendance.

Please note: if we ask you to return home to isolate, you will not be charged.

Between sessions

All Health Partners have been trained to use a chemical fogging solution. We spray this around the studio or clinic room after each use and it kills all bacteria and viruses on all surfaces and materials.

Our buildings and facilities are thoroughly and regularly cleaned.

Health Partners deliver sessions in line with our COVID-19 risk assessment.

Our booking system acts as our Test and Trace database so that we can contact people about confirmed cases if necessary.
